The day school starts, I get Redwall for a week, which should make me really happy. Right? Wrong.
I let Jing have the card for the holidays because she had never seen the New Year’s Eve fireworks on Animal Crossing before. (Also because I was going overseas so I couldn’t take care of Redwall.) She has taken good care of the town, created three golden shovels, and paid of the mortgage (she better!). She also had fun building snowmen.
I SHOULD be glad to see Redwall after such a long time. Bright Nights will begin not long after I get the card. BUT…
I forgot about CAMP…
Camp lasts three nights. Both Jing and I are going. It’s Jing’s first school camp. (I’m going to have so much fun watching her!) This means that for three nights,we are going to have to leave Redwall abandoned. This has been troubling me for the past few days. I’m not sure if she has realised this, but Jing is going to go mad when she does. She worked so hard on this town. I don’t see how a couple of days could ruin it, but there are flowers that will wither. Of course, we can hoard our flowers indoors to prevent witherage. But we WILL END UP MISSING BRIGHT NIGHTS. (I’m not sure if Jing has seen Bright Nights before, but I don’t want to miss it either way.)
Time travel is something I don’t like to resort to. We don’t have any friends who love Animal Crossing enough to town-sit for us. All the friends who could be taught to are joining us at camp. Gaming devices are forbidden at camp.
What are we to do?
fully agreed.
I get it now! Thank you so much Mayu! Once again, you are better than the best!
Umm let me explain, it kills flowers when you move forward in time for several days like now is Jan 13th and you time travel to Jan 16th or even more, then the flower will vanish.
But when you turn your DS date to the last game play date (or the day after game play and you can be even more cautious and don’t put your ACWW card in it while doing that) how should your ACWW card know that it’s not the actual date? For the card itself it only looks like the day has passed just one day. And when you have done all the chores in town, save the progress then power off your DS. Then when starting the DS (not ACWW) change again it’s date one day later and start ACWW after that. For the card itself it always looks like the time has passed normally one day after the other, I hope you know what I mean xD. The main thing is, that you use the DS date to change, not the clock inside ACWW game and move always one day after the other to the current date. And I promise, when you do that, nothing will happen, for ACWW it only looks like you’ve been playing day by day as ever
I thought that time travel kills flowers? I tried it once and all my flowers vanished…?
Oh I forgot to say, that you have to set your DS date BEFORE you start ACWW, and only the DS date, NOT changing the clock in the attic room!! sorry for double post
Ohhh, that’s a problem!
But I would still suggest to time travel when you come back. Just turn your DS to the date when you’ve left to Camp and then water your flowers, enjoy bright nights lol, and when you’re done save and set your DS date a day after that and doing the same things again until you’ve reached the current date.
I also did that when I was on holidays in Japan and I can assure you, that nothing bad will happen to your town by doing that. Actually it looks like it doesn’t even notice any time travel, I also had a big turnip price the next day LOL.
Well it’s just a suggestion
